Would People Still Want 40th Birthday Invitations?Nobody is ever too old to have a birthday party. And people who are turning 40 are certainly no exception! The 40th year is a turning point in our lives, a point that marks the end of childhood innocence, and marks the start of many more exciting years to look forward to. A party would certainly be warranted for such an occasion! So why not make 40th birthday invitations that could make the event more memorable? Ideally, 40th birthday invitations should also be able to serve as mementos which all the party attendees could treasure. It is not uncommon that a person who is turning forty may have friends who are turning 40 as well, or else have turned 40 recently. They, too, may find comfort in keeping something that reminds them of how much fun a 40th birthday can be! Invitations for this sort of affair would of course need to have a note of cheerfulness. Invitations that are too formal or somber may not suit a happy gathering. Be careful however to take the celebrant's preferences into consideration. Some people may take the big four-oh as a serious affair, and would wish to treat it with respect and dignity. If so, design birthday invitations that are classy without being somber. The important thing, really, is not to make it look like a funeral notice! Some celebrants may in fact find turning forty quite depressing, but it is up to you as the invitation designer to change their perspective on things! Monochrome sepia is a common choice for the classic look, although it could be quite dull or even sad if not properly balanced. In fact, sepia is a better choice for people who are turning 60 or 70, not 40! Opt for lighter colors if you have the freedom to. Rich earth colors like red and orange, or even shades of beige may be more dynamic, more youthful without being juvenile. Life begins at 40, as we say. And Make 40th birthdays more special by making fancy 40th birthday invitations! |
