What Should Be Included in a Woman's 30th Birthday Invitations

Getting older is hard on anyone, but it may be harder on some women. Some women may be especially sensitive to turning 30. After all, 30 marks an end to one's carefree twenties, the fun-filled years that one so cherished - or took for granted, which would in fact make losing them a lot more tragic. One may then want a woman's 30th birthday invitations to be light-hearted and subtle, without going over the edge into somber.

A woman should not feel like 30th birthdays are a scourge! It is important to make her 30th birthday invitations according to her liking, so that she may be able to properly communicate to her friends, co-workers and family (or anyone else she may wish to invite) the kind of "mood" she wants for the gathering. She may not want a gathering that is too rambunctious, and if so, the invitations should reflect that. But if they do, you must make sure that the invitations are not too serious, else it may be mistaken for a funeral notice!

30 is not too old for a joke or two. An invitation that comes with a witty graphic or quote would often be a welcome thing, especially if the celebrant has her own unique brand of dry, witty humor. If you are going to resort to humor, though, make sure it isn't offensive. A woman who is sensitive about her age may not take kindly to direct joking, and may in fact cover her disappointment with a few self-deprecating jokes of her own. Oh she may not show her resentment outwardly, but she'll find ways to let you know!

On the other hand, making an invitation that looks juvenile may be equally unwelcome. You may be able to get away with a pacifier or a one-candle cake as a front graphic for the invitation, but if the celebrant's personality doesn't highlight the humor in it, you'll definitely fail. In the end, you must always consider the personality of the celebrant.

The trick is in attaining the right balance for a project of this nature. A woman's 30th birthday invitations should be light-hearted without being childish, and serious without being morose. Take on the challenge if you want to help make that special lady's special day more memorable!
