High Quality Craftsmanship with Carlson Invitations

Carlson invitations are created by Carlson Craft, a Mankato-based company established in 1948 to operate in the commercial printing market. Since then, the company has grown and expanded into the wedding and social stationery business. Today, the firm is one of the foremost providers of invitations for all kinds of occasions.

The company offers Carlson invitations and several other product lines under themes like Something Different, Save the Date, business greeting cards, holiday greeting cards, birth announcements, party invitations, bar and bat mitzvah, personalized stationery, anniversary invitations and graduation products. Accessories and paper products are also part of the firm’s offerings.

Carlson Letter service began in 1948 as a part-time venture established by William Carlson in Mankato. After a few months, the company expanded into the personalized napkins business and wedding invitations soon followed. In 1957, the firm changed its name to Carlson Wedding Service and Carlson Craft in 1962.

The growth of the company continued, and in 1989 it was split into two operations called Craft Social and Craft Commercial in an effort to better serve its ever expanding customer base. Four more divisions were added to the company; Label Works in 1991, Catalog in 1994, Specialty Products in 1995 and Folders in 2001. In 2004, the Carlson Craft Business Solutions Group was formed to act as a single point of contact within the commercial printing industry and to represent the four divisions. This incorporation proved to be beneficial since it further strengthened the company’s status in the stationery and paper industry.

Invitation products from Carlson cater to all types of customers and provide for all kinds of occasions. Being a printing company, Carlson knows the value of high quality paper and stationery and this knowledge is reflected in every single invitation manufactured under the brand. The firm remains one of the strongest operators in this sector and is expected to continue its strong performance for years to come.

Carlson invitations are made by one of the top names in the specialty paper business and their designs and colors reflect the kind of attention that the company gives to its products.
